Once magazine, a hit!

I had the chance to download Once Magazine - a photojournal app for the iPad. Not only is the subject matter exciting and ultra-interesting to read, it's superbly designed! Absolutely inspiring, I can't wait for the new issues!

Great typography!

Movie Title Stills Collections

Not only is this website beautifully designed, but the content is quite amazing! It's a collection of movie titles, categorized into decades. It's incredible to see how drastic the typography style changed in just 10 years. Everything from hand-rendered scripts, to slabs-serifs. The newly added Warner Brothers page knocks my socks off!

Great Type and Placement

Some type I found. I really love the contrast of a beautifully designed script typeface combined with a rugged environment or application.

Beautiful aged typography!

Saw this signage on Sherbrooke street. I can imagine how much work was put into the design & the installation probably 30-40 years ago. I'd love to see this in a couple of years, even more deteriorated.
